- Zee Jaipur Literature Festival Opens from Jan 24
The five-day annual literary gala once again opens at Jaipur. Over the past decade, this event has become a pilgrimage of sorts for literature fans. The perfect weather, vibrant Rajasthan and regal Diggy Palace play perfect host to who's-who of the written world. The event which started as a select gathering of sorts has over the years expanded horizons so much so that it is now touted to be the biggest literary gathering in the world. It also set off a trend of sorts with many regional literary offshoots such as the Chennai Litfest or the recently-concluded Kolkata Litfest.
